Pregnant, In Early Stage, Prescribed Micronized Progesterone After Slight Spotting, Have Acidity, Burning Throat After Intake. Suggestion?

Hi,I am shammi, 27 years, now im 10 week pregnant.around 8 week i have slight spotting then i contact my doctor & she suggest me micronized progesterone 200mg x2 nos daily & i have also thyroid problem & take thyrox .5 mg daily. now i feel much acidity problem with throat burning & also seems me abdomen large like 4 to 5 month pregnant.plz. suggest me.

Hi thanks for your question,you are 10 week pregnant , had slight spotting for which you were prescribed progestrone ,and your also taking thyrox daily and your feeling ascidity problem along with throat burning.Dear pregnancy itself is a hyper acidity state and gastric emptying time is delayed and drugs your taking increases the acidity,the throat burning which your feeling is due to reflux esophagitis which again increases in pregnancy,since your in early stage of your pregnancy and had spotting ,your advised to avoid much medication till you complete your first trimester after which you can take medicine for hyper acidity,still your advised to consult your gynecologist .
