Pregnant, high TSH levels. Taking antibiotics, levels reduced. Will it affect brain development?

Hi I am XXXXXX, i am 14 weeks pregnant. In starting days of pregnancy my TSH level is 12.36 but after taking medicine 100mg my TSH level becomes 1.20 regularly. Somebody told me that because of thyroid child mind is not completely devolped. I am very afraid, kindly let me know does it effects my child. I am taking medicine on regular basis. What others precautions should i take.?

Dear XXXXXX, HI! It is true that thyroid levels affect baby's brain development. but as you achieved normal levels very soon after diagnosis and maintained a normal level throughout pregnancy, it will not have any significant adverse effect. Regards!
