Pregnant Having Hot Sweats And Weak. Tingling In Hands And Feeling Asleep. Suggestion?

I am 13 weeks pregnant. I just all of a sudden got very hot, had to lay down because I felt weak and a bit nauseous, my hands were shaking, my heart was racing and I felt tired. My hands were tingling , and going to sleep. I had to catch my breath. I m wondering if this is serious and I need to go to a hospital. I m worried for my baby.

Hello
thank you for your query.
Yes, I think you need to see a doctor and go the hospital.
It sounds like you had a sudden episode of hypoglycemia or hypotension.
However, this early in pregnancy you need to consult a doctor to ensure your well being and the safety of the fetus.
Please get your blood pressure checked.
Avoid dehydration.
Get your blood sugars and thyroid levels assessed.
Also, make sure that you do not have a cardiac lesion, as you faced breathlessness and palpitations also.
rule out anemia.
take care.
Ensure that you eat well, wisely and throughout the day, at regular intervals.
