Hello
Welcome
No it is not the side effect of progesterone.
Take B complex , drink lot of water , eat less spicy food.
Saline gargles help a lot in sore throat.
Steam inhalation is good for the cough.
Ginger tea with basil leaves can be taken twice daily.
Lozenges for cough can be taken.if still persists you can take safe antibiotics under doctor's prescription.
Best wishes
Take care
