Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

One possibility is a urinary tract infection. Any history of fever, nausea, vomiting, burning urination?

I would advise you to visit your gynaecologist , who might advise a urine routine and culture & sensitivity test and if required , will prescribe the appropriate antibiotics.

Please drink plenty of water at least 8-10 glasses of water a day.
Maintain good perineal hygiene.
Ensure regular periodic emptying of the bladder.

Another possibility is the sensation of increased urination, due to the pressure of the baby on the urinary bladder (which is quite normal).

Anywyay , please do visit your doctor to rule out a urinary tract infection, which if left untreated can result in complications like preterm labour.

I hope I have answered your question. Please do get back to me if you have further queries.

Have a great day :)

hi there, what I have understood from your description is that you are having lower ribe abdomen pain and back ache with a sensa tion of frequent micturation, or fluid passing thro' your vagina. The increased micturation is to be expected and is normal as the uterus is pressing on the bladder and so you feel the urge to evacuted frequently. The low back pain with abdominal pain and something passing down your vagina sounds ominous and so you will need to be examined to rule out preterm labour. You could try evacuationg your bowel once and lying in left lateral position to see if it gives you any relief. But first do get preterm labour ruled out by your doctor. Rest is fine take care.
