Pregnant, Diabetic. Pressure In Lower Left Jaw Leading To Toothache. Intake Of Penicillin. Help

I began having pressure in my lower left jaw which lead into a serious toothache 5 days ago. I was given penicillin vk 500mg 20 tabs. I finished the pills this am. I am also a pregnant (21 weeks) diabetic. Any idea what's causing this or if there are other meds to help? I still have some pain especially when chewin or apply pressure.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pressure in the jaw that you are having could be related to an oral infection or a dental infection. This needs a detailed examination by a dentist to find out the cause. Antibiotics will help you.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
