Pregnant, cramps, light spotting. What could it be?

hi, im 25 weeks pregnant and having been having horrible cramping since yesterday afternoon and all of last night, i have seen no blood or spotting until now, but it was very very little and light pink.. these cramps come and go as they please.. i dont think they are contractions because ive head preterm labor contractions and they feel nothing like them, what could it be.??

According to your symptoms, you seem to be experiencing tightening along with little spotting. You need immediate medical attention as the cause needs to be diagnosed. See your doctor and get assessed. Meanwhile avoid all activity, take bed rest in left lateral position, avoid intercourse and try to remain in peace. You may need a sonogram to assess the placental position and the fetal well-being. Most often such cramps subside with treatment with no further harm. Good luck.
