Hi,
Many times it happens that post coital spotting during pregnancy subsides with rest. It is advised that intercourse be avoided during the first 3 months and last three months of pregnancy. In your case, an ultrasound scan should diagnose what the problem is, whether the pregnancy is in good condition and in normal position. Hope that everything will go well, as it happens most often. Since you have not passed any clots or pieces, there is every chance that the pregnancy is viable. Until your scan avoid all movement, take absolute bed rest and avoid stress. good luck.
