Pregnant. TORCH Test Result Showed Borderline Positive HERPES. Harmful To Baby? Vaccination? Or Abortion?

I am 12 week pregnant. and again my TORCH test detail for your kind consideration. It is my recent test report. RUBELLA IGG : Positive RUBELLA IGm: Negative TOXOPLASMA IGG: Positive TOXOPLASMA IGm: Borderline Positive CMV IGG: Positive CMV IGM: Negative HERPES IGG: Borderline Positive HERPES IGM: Negative Is it harmful to my newly baby or can I take any vaccination against it. Or it better for Abortion.

Thanks for writing to us.
A borderline positive test of Herpes during pregnancy is a worrisome finding. You need to take proper treatment till the antibody titre becomes proper negative. You also need to have level II scan to detect any fetal anomalies.
