General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, severe pain and burning following MTP may be due to retained product of conception, so please go for USG whole abdomen and complete examination by a gynaecologist. You should go for complete blood count as retained product may lead to infection. Take tab paracetamol 500mg tds or qid for pain and tab metronidazole 400 mg tds for atleast 5 days.
thanks for consulting HCM.
