Pregnant. Have varicose veins. Swollen and painful knee, sore to touch. What should I do?

I am 20 weeks pregnant (second pregnancy) and have had a small section of varicose veins in my right leg for over 15 years now, never caused me trouble before, even throughout first pregnancy. Today the small area (just below and to the left of my knee ) is swollen and is painful, both generally achey & sore and very sore to touch. What should I do?
