Pregnant. Have Varicose Veins. Swollen And Painful Knee, Sore To Touch. What Should I Do?

I am 20 weeks pregnant (second pregnancy) and have had a small section of varicose veins in my right leg for over 15 years now, never caused me trouble before, even throughout first pregnancy. Today the small area (just below and to the left of my knee ) is swollen and is painful, both generally achey & sore and very sore to touch. What should I do?

thank you.it is a very important question.varicose vein and pregnancy are both the risk factor for deep venous thrombosis.i think it is something happening.it should be proved with proper examination of the leg and some investigation(d-dimer).urgently consult with a medicine specialist.
