Pregnant. Have Nosebleeds, Lumps Sensation On Throat, Blood Clots. What Could It Be?

Hi there, im 8months pregnant and thus far my pregnancy has been quite uneventful which is great. I have a question though. I sometimes get nosebleeds, and lately for the last 2 weeks I have noticed that when I clear the back of my throat I get lumps of coagulated blood (or blood clots) that I end up having to spit out. Is this something that I should be worried about. I have had no recent nosebleeds lately, so im just not sure where it would be coming from?

Hi Dear,
Pregnancy brings about a lot of changes in the body. The vascularity of every part increases.
Epistaxis i.e nose bleed is quiet common during pregnancy and occur due to increased vascularity over there or simply due to nose picking. This bleed may trickle behind in your throat and come out as clotted blood. Other reason could be throat infection. All of these are benign conditions and easily treatable. However, you should get an ENT checkup to rule out any other cause
