Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
You are having
Gestational Diabetes, and must understand in this type of diabetes blood sugar diagnostic and management are more strict, as it is related to outcome.
The treatment of choice is
Insulin therapy to keep blood sugar level to desired level.
Your numbers are certainly high and only diet control may not be enough as if too much calories are reduced then other problems of nutrition may appear.
Fasting should be 5.3 mmol/L, and after 2 hour of lunch 8.6 mmol/L/
Please follow instructions as given by your Physician as
uncontrolled diabetes results in large baby and other complications.
Along with treatment take care of diet 30 Kcal/kg body weight with avoiding simple sugars.
you can also have regular walking daily 45 to 60 min, which will help to control blood sugar level.
