Pregnant. Dizziness Like Vertigo After Taking Prescribed Ecosprin 75. Opinion?

Hello Doctor,, my third month of pregnancy is about to over. Doctor has prescribed me Ecosprin 75 once a day which I am taking regularly. But as per my observation, after about one hour of taking the medicine I feel dizzy or say... Vertigo ... Is this the side effect of this medicine or reason could be something else??

Hi,
Ecosprin is an anti-prostaglandin drug and as such can influence the blood pressure. As oral medication takes about one hour to show its effect, you could be experiencing some alteration in the blood pressure after this time. I would ask you to contact your doctor for an evaluation of perfusion, renal as well as utero-placental and blood pressure monitoring. If your vertigo is being caused by sudden changes in the blood pressure due to the medication, you may have to stop the drug. Hope this helps. Wish you good health.
