Pregnancy Test First Came Positive And Next Test Negative. Feeling The Movement Of Baby. Am I Pregnant?

Hi. On the first week of December i took 2 pregnancy tests . First came out positive, then the 2nd came out negative. So o thought i wasnt pregnant. Now for the past 2 weeks im always eating sweets & drinking coffee. I dont know when my last menstration is. Since October until now i havent had my period. Now i feel baby movements. Especially when i lay on my side. I dont have medical but im planning to apply for one. How do i know how many weeks im pregnant? I need to know asap so i can get prenatal check ups. Thanks.

I understand that that you are anxious about the possibility of your pregnancy. Now, in cases when a person is unsure about the last menstrual period, the dating is done using ultrasound scan. A scan done will help to confirm your pregnancy as well as calculate your gestational age and due date. In cases where a home pregnancy test is giving ambiguous results, further confirmation of pregnancy can be done with a blood testing for the levels of the pregnancy hormone, Beta- HCG.

Baby movemets cannot be felt before 3 months, so the sensations which you are feeling could be due to something else or could be psychological. So, I would advise you to see a gynaecologist to have the pregnancy scan done and if the pregnancy is confirmed, to have antenatal checks and vitamin supplements.
