Post PICC Line Insertion Difficulties

I am a 44 years old. I had a PICC line insertion Friday and it appeared all went well and I felt completely fine. One hour later I had jaw and neck pain , then throat and chest pain , difficulty taking deep breath when exhaling. Went to hospital, EKG normal, cardiac blood panel good, xray of PICC line appears to be in good position. Oxygen level on low side, 89/90. they ruled out drug allergy . Discharged. I have continued with same symptoms 4 days later. They xrayed PICC line again and say it is in perfect position . I cannot lie on my right or left side, pressure and pain increases in throat, chest and neck nor can i bend down or turn too much. I feel like my lungs are severely water logged like after swimming. They tell me I am just sensitive to the line. I am not suppose to feel anything any ideas why I am having all this pain ?

Hello.
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
Some people do have a tendency to react a lot to any external stimulus they are given. May be you also have got an extremely sensitive body. If after insertion of the line the X-rays show that your line is in right place then in my opinion you need not worry at all. Your body will get accustomed in a few days.
