It does not mean that if one ovary is removed she does not ovulate and she has the same chances of getting pregnant as women with two ovaries. The success rate of IVF is not so promising and it decreases with increasing age of women. In this case ovulation and sperm condition may not be the only problem you are looking for, her
uterus may not able able to implant the fertilized ovum, hormones required for continuing
pregnancy may not be sufficient and so on.
In many of the cases the cause for
infertility remains unidentified till the end. So you can have one more complete infertility workup done and keep trying.
