Hello sir and welcome.

A doctors supervision is mandatory to help with normal pregnancy sir. Actually, it is reauired from at least 3 months prior to conception as so mant pre-conceptional investigations need to be conducted and also the initiation of iron and folic acid supplements which help in preventing neural tube defects in the fetus.

Please visit another doctor if you were unhappy with the last one, but do not keep her unsupervised.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes and congratulations to the both of you.
