Popping Sound In Front Thigh To Groin While Bending, Severe Pain. History Of Fall Causing Bruise On Knee, Dislocated Hip. Suggested Sciatic Nerve Pain. Advice
I fell a about six months ago and bruised my knee really bad and got my hip out of place . I have been seeing a chiropractor and it just seems to be getting worse. In my front thigh from my groin down when I bend my leg something pops and I just can't get rid of the really bad pain . I can't get out of a chair without it killing me. I have been to the doctor and they say its a siatic nerve but I feel there is more there.
Based on the description of symptoms, I suspect that there exists some trouble inside your hip joint which is producing severe pain. An MRI scan of the involved Hip joint will pick up the abnormality/ pathology, based on which the management depends on.
Your symptoms are not fitting into the sciatic nerve problem as it is very unusual to have symptoms in the front of thigh or groin with sciatic nerve issues.
I suggest you to consult an orthosurgeon for a detailed evaluation and further management.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
