Hi earlier today as I was walking through town I felt a popping sensation in my forehead I heard it snap almost. This was followed by a sharp pain. It passed after a few seconds but then about 15 mins later. I felt a sharp pain again for the same place which again lasted for a few seconds. I have had a dull headache fit the past hour or so now. Thank you for your question. This " popping" sound is usually generated by pressure and mucous in your air sinuses , situated in the forehead and face. Your symptoms would fit a sinusitis, the treatment of which consists of a decongestant , painkiller and possibly antibiotics. Please consult your doctor regarding this.
