Two days ago I had a pimple on the inside of my nose I kept looking at it cause it was weird to me that I had a pimple on inside of my nose. Later that same day I popped it. Now two days later my nose is really sensitive to the touch and later that night I got woken up to my nose throbbing with pain any idea what is going on? please and thank you
A pimple on the nose or inside it is not as uncommon as one would imagine. It is more likely it was a closed comedone. Your piching or popping it, probably ruptured the folllicle with secondary infection & inflammation. You will do well with a systemic antibiotic & antiinflammatory agent (metronidazole 400mg with ibuprofen 400/600mg) both three times daily with food & by a doctors' prescription as per your country's laws & regulations. Please do meet with your dermatologist on the ground who may have the right approach taking into account your clinical appearance & affordabiltity, antibiotic susceptibility etc. Do make sure you enquire & are appraised of face cleansing & care routine & wish you a quick recovery & hope you are soon pain-free & les pimples are also addressed once & for all. Cheers & Good Luck
