Poked the tongue with a dog's syringe after giving him insulin. See the doctor urgently?

I have poked myself in the tongue with my dog s syringe after having given him his insulin (Humulin) injection . An unfortunate accident but I would suggest you visit the emergency department. The emergency doctor may consider you need broad spectrum antibiotics as a precaution.
