Planning For A Baby. On Duphaston. Will They Have Side Effects?

I am 28 years married girl. we are planning for baby for the last one year but i have not conceived so far. The gyno suggested for folical study. The result was normal. now the gyno has prescribed me duphaston for two weeks two times a day. I searched on the internet and found that the tablet is for regularizing periods. But I have regular periods. Further there is a lot of side effects of the tablets. Please suggest me that should I continue with the duphaston or consult with the doc. again. please revert.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Since you have not conceived in last one year, the gynecologist has given you the hormonal tablets to regulate your cycles and once you will have the periods, you will be given ovulation induction therapy.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Rakhi-Tayal
