Pins And Needles Pain In The Hands And Feet, Itchy Skin. Heart Murmur By Birth. What Could Be Wrong?

i have really itchy skin for the past 3 nearly 4 weeks, i have tingling similar to pins and needles in my hands most of the time and my feet, the itching is now affecting my legs arms and body yet it started and is worse on my ankles and wrists. I also have a heart murmur since birth, no one else in my family are experiencing symptoms, i am recovering from the flu which started 10 days ago. had contraceptive implant removed in late January....

Hi,

You are having generalised pruritus and burning sensation in extremities.

You had flu.

There are many causes of Generalised pruritus .

Xerosis, anaemia, thyroid dysfunctions,DM,renal diseases,liver diseases, malignancies, drugs and many other..

Tingling sensations may be due to anaemia, vitamin B 12 deficiency, depression,anxiety,DM,leprosy, neuritis,peripheral vascular diseases,bad habits like tobbaco and alcohol...etc

Thorough history and. Clinical examination should be there to come to provisional diagnosis.

Blood tests,sonography and radiologic investigations may be done to rule out above diseases.

And ultimately to diagnose the perticular disease.

Then accordingly treatment may be taken.

For this, you must consult dermatologist... Ok

You have heart disease also, for that you consult cardiologist.
