Pimple On Lip, Burning Sensation. Had Oral Sex. Possibility Of Herpes?

I am a gay, 23 year old man, and I recently had oral sex performed on me. This occurred about 17 days ago. Today I notice what feels like I burnt my lip on hot food, and I check it out in a magnification mirror. There is what looks to be a tiny pimple where the burn is. I am so scared that it is herpes , even though I did not perform oral sex on the man. Is there a possibility that it is anything but herpes? I don t know what to do and I m so scared.

Hi there.

Have you ever had a similar lesion or an outbreak of oral herpes in the past?

Please get yourself checked for both herpes1 & 2 IgG & IgM & this will give you not only peace of mind but if positive , will give you the titres & tell you whether it is a new or old infection & what type exactly & then you can take the necessary action.

These lesions all look similar so it will be great if you can upload a clear digital image of the same on this web site or go onto our private ask-a-doctor portal & get in touch with me directly should you require discretion.
