hi there, i have a large amount of phlegm seemingly blocking my airways, its been a long running thing about a month and a half now, which has been diagnosed as a lung infection, a bronchial infection, and i have also been diagnosed with labyrinthitis. the phlegm is green, although when i wake in the morning i seem to have brown phlegm (doesn't appear to contain blood). i have recently quit smoking. this also comes with a strange chest pain, just below the middle of my rib cage and slightly to the left. it also seems to become even more of a problem later in the evening, or when i feel anxious or stressed. i have had a chest x-ray which apparently has signs that my lungs are over-inflated, and have been referred to a chest specialist, although this will not happen for another 6 week. also, out of curiosity, could this be caused by swallowing something sharp that has lodged itself in my chest somewhere? as i had an incident about 2 months ago (i work in a kitchen,
