Hi, You could be having a hormonal imbalance creating a scanty period or this could be a sign of early pregnancy. Please get a pregnancy test done with a fresh early morning sample of urine. If it is not conclusive, you may go for the blood pregnancy test to detect serum beta-hCG titres. This is a better confirmatory method as it is more sensitive. You would also need a trans-vaginal sonogram and a complete evaluation by a specialist. Hope this helps. Take care.
