Periods, Itching In Vagina, Allergic To Tampons, Swollen Labia Minora. Taken Ibuprofen. Treatment?

Hi! Two weeks ago I had my period. At the end, I started to have an itchy feeling in my vagina . Thinking I was allergic to scented tampons, I stopped using tampons for my last day. Yesterday, my labia minor started itching again started to become swollen. Today, both are very swollen and hurt very badly. I took ibuprofen about twenty minutes ago, but what can I do to stop the itching/pain?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having fungal infection or might be due to allergy to tampon material.
Apply antifungal cream locally.
Take antihistamine like Cetrizine or Benadryl for itching as and when required.
Keep local hygiene clean and hygienic.
Ok and take care.
