It is possible to have spotting or a little more bleeding than that on your expected date of periods for first 3 months of pregnancy and yet all will be well. Still to be on the safer side , it is best to take complete bed rest and a scan if things dont settle in a couple of days. See your gynaec thereafter as she may need to put on some medication if you are threatening to abort. Abortion in early days of pregnancy is a nature's way of getting rid of an abnormal pregnancy. Such pregnancies are not repetitive so not to worry . Take care and all the best !

DR. MUKESH RAGHAV's  Response

It is not unusual to have bleeding during first three months of pregnancy. It can be due to non fusion of chorionic layers or you may be suffering from Threatened abortion. , It is very difficult to differentiate between the two!! Hence relax, have a complete bed rest and if possible consult the nearest gyno.
