I have a burning pain in my left lower abdomen and dull pain in my lower back. This sometimes occurs before and after my period but never when I have my period. Some months I don t have it, and some months I do. The pain seems to be worse at night or when I lie down. My periods are regular, not particularly heavy and I don t suffer from extensive pain when I have them. What could this problem be?

I am a 20 year old female with joint pain, my knees and elbows tend to ache but usually only at night or when I am tired. Tonight my knee pain radiates up my thigh and into my lower left abdomen , it almost feels like cramps but I am not on my period nor am I in the middle of my cycle. I m just curious if this pain is because I am tired or if it could be something else. The joint pain has been going on for a few years. But the cramps are specific to today.

Hi, I have been having leg pains without any back problems. Over the past couple of months I have begun to feel an irritated lower back right behind my tail bone, and pain in my left hip. Now my pain has escalated to my lower left abdomen where it feels like I am in a low grade labor. I am 52 years old, and I have ceased having a period for more then two years. I have had four children, and I am wondering if this may be related to Sciatica.
