Pelvic Discomfort With Gas, Pain, Nausea, Back Pain. Ovarian Cyst?

I think I may have an ovarian cyst, as I have pelvic discomfort that comes and goes. It has been like this for nearly two weeks, basically, since ovulation. I also have a lot of gas pain and slight occasional moments of nausea. I have also experienced moments of stomach fluttering. I have mild back pain as well, and should mention that I am 47 years old. Does this sound like an ovarian cyst? I am hungry all the time and do not feel full after small meals.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Ovarian cysts may be associated with no complaints in some women, in others the symptoms may include irregular periods, fullness or pressure in the abdomen or pelvis, abdominal pain, nausea.

It would not affect appetite , the desire to eat or cause decreased fullness after meals however .
It is possible that your feelings of nausea, gas may be related to GERD.

This is treated with lifestyle changes and medication if needed. Lifestyle changes include reducing fried/fatty/spicy/citrus foods. Also there should be reduced use of tomato, chocolate and caffeine.
Small meals would also be helpful.

YOu can consider visiting your doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
