Paraplegic, Getting Recurring Pseudomonas Bladder Infections, Taking Zosyn And Tobramycin. Permanent Cure?

My boyfriend is a paraplegic (T8-10) the 2 years or so he has been getting recurring pseudomonas bladder infections. There is only 2 iv antibiotics that will treat his infection (Zosyn and Tobramycin). His urologist is doing nothing to prevent the infection from returning so we are looking for other options as to what we can do.

Welcome to HCM.
Recurrent infections might be due to incomplete treatment or resistance of antibiotic.
You have to take complete course of proper antibiotic, also confirm the complete cure by follow up urine investigation.
Decide proper antibiotic by urine culture and sensitivity test.
Drink more water and other liquids.
If he is having urinary catheter then take proper local care and go for change the catheter at regular interval.
