Pap Test Showed Atypical Squamous Cells. HPV And STD Negative. Further?
So I am going in again for recall number 3 in the (past 7 month)in a week for a pap all my results come back with atypical squamis cells, neurophils forgive my spelling... HPV negative, negative for all std's and yeast! What could be the cause of this and should I request further actions or tests ? Feeling frustrated :( I am 30 years old I have one daughter who is 5!

Atypical squamous cells are seen in chronic cervicites. You need to get speculum examination done and cervical biopsy study. Need to get PAP smear examination done regularly every year for any progress in disease. Hope this answered your question. Consult your doctor for further management. . Wish you good health.
