Pap Smear Test Shows Ectropion. Meaning?

Hi Doctor! my pap smear test shows- MICRO: satisfactory smears showing few squamous cells and predominance of endocervical cells. They have regular dark nuclei with finely dispersed chromatin material and amphophilic cytoplasm.Metaplastic forms and polymorphs are noted.
Diagnosis: pap Smear-Ectropion
What is my situation, please.

Hello.

Ectropion is suggestive a chronic cervical irritation. There is a change in the type of epithelium due to chronic irritation of the cervix. Since metaplasia is also noted, it needs a treatment like cautery.
