Pains, Cramps, Bloating, Endometriosis. Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Done. Advise?

Last summer I had a laproscopic hysterectomy and kept both ovaries. I had stage 4 endometriosis. It seems to me that my boby still gets the cramps and pains associated with a period with endo pains. Seems like once a month. I get severe pains and cramping when I awake in the morning and comes and goes through out the day the cramping forces me to servere bowel movements almost like the flu. I also get the sharp pains in my stomach and bloating when I eat. This seems to last 3-4days.......This is exactly how it would be when I would get my period.............Could this possibly be related to any endometriosis left in my body?
Thx for your time

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi Melanie,
Thanks for consulting us.
Whenever a patient undergoes hysterctomy for advanced endometriosis it is always wise to remove both ovaries as well. As the ovaries produce hormones which will trigger the growth of endometriotic implants present in your abdomen.
There is a stong likelyhood of this pain to be related to your endometriosis. I think you should report back to your treating gynecologist. The doctor may offer you further medical or surgical treatment to resolve this problem.
Best of luck.
