First reason for such kind of pain can be trauma. If your had any accident, some blood may be collected there, or there even might be a minor fracture. Getting an X-Ray is important. Otherwise it may Costochondritis. It is the swelling or inflammation of the cartilaginous ends of over ribs. It usually occurs after some heavy weight lifting or physical exercise. Apply some warm compresses. You will require analgesics for a while. In certain resistant cases even steroids may be required. Consult a surgeon for a proper diagnosis and prescription
Hope that helps you
God bless you
