Painful Stools, Bad Smell, Breast-feed. What Could It Be?

hello there my son has been having trouble pooing since birth he is fully breastfeed by a bottle as he has cleft but wen he needs a poo i have to have him laying on his mat with his knees up and he is pushing hard and crying in pain and his poo's comes out thick and yellow which i think is normal consistinsey in little amounts he doesnt go for a bout a week each time this time it has a bit of a yukky off smell what do you think this could be? thanks Bonnie

I think you need to take your baby to a doctor for evaluation because any kind of obstruction to bowel needs to be ruled out .
