Painful Reddish Skin Rash With A White Speck In The Middle. Spider Bite?
I have what I think is a spider bite on my thigh. It s a red ring, about 1.5 inches in diameter. It s raised and hard in the center with what looks like a white speck right in the middle. It s been there a couple of days and is painful to the touch and just a little sore. Should I ice this? Or is it too late? Thank you!

It looks like infection of hair follicle.
Hard swelling is due to inflammation.
White speck is the pointed pus.
Please take an antibiotic and anti inflammatory medicine.
If there is no response,Consult a surgeon and get it excised.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having some insect bite giving rise to local allergic reaction.
Take antihistamine like Cetrizine or Benadryl tablet for 1-2 days.
If there is infection took place go ofr short antibiotic medicine course.
Ok and take care.
