Hello Dr. Grief, I am a 24 year old female experiencing weird sensations in my head. Sometimes it s painful and other times it just feels like pressure, then it goes away. The sensation moves around my head often. I m experiencing some pain on my right side, that shoots directly to my back. Also, feeling more thirsty than usual. What could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi there.

Thanks for writing in.

One of the causes of headache could be dehydration. Make sure you drink at least 8-10 glasses of water every day.

Any history of stress or anxiety?

Another possibility is Migraine. Any family history of migraine?

Make sure you sleep well. Get enough rest.

Get your thyroid function test and blood sugar levels to rule out thyroid disorders and diabetes etc.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
