Painful Lump On Outside Of Lower Leg In The Middle, Getting Smaller And Larger, Tingly Leg And Foot. Concerning?

I have a lump on the outside of my lower leg right in the middle (between my knee and ankle). Sometimes it's very small but then sometimes it gets so large it will split the skin.
As of the past few days its stayed quite large it's painful and it feels like my leg and foot are "a sleep" with the tingly feeling.
Any idea what this could be and should I be overly concerned?

Hi, it appears to be the condition due to the defeciency of the calcium in the blood, called tetany, causing acute contraction of the muscle. So i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have infusion of electrolytes . Thank you.
