About a month ago, I noticed a painful lump at the top of my right breast. I was on birth control pills and in the middle of a pill pack when i noticed this. I was out of town. 3 days later I had a lap chole performed (scheduled, not emergent). About a week ago, again in the middle of a pill pack, I noticed the same lumps in my chest, breast area (around sternum and even a lump mid sternum). I discontinued the birth control pills last weekend. I've also had chest pain for about 11 days. Saw an internist two days ago. He didn't examine the lumps and told me to see obgyn. (I have an appointment next week). He also did an EKG (normal) and referred me to a cardiologist to have a treadmill test next week. I've noticed tenderness in my upper abdomen over the last few days as well, and attributed it to gallbladder removal. But today I noticed the same tender lumps there as well. One right at the upper incision, and one over the left upper abdomen. What on earth could all these tender lumps in breast, chest and upper abdomen be? I'm concerned to say the least.
