Painful legs, ankles pain, prick pains, no other illness, discomfort. No medication. Explain

Hi,
I have severe pains in my legs, which sometimes seem to almost cramp. They are often hot and my ankles hurt very much. My feet are uncomfortably hot and aching and I am getting sharp pin prick pains intermittently in my legs. I also get pain in my groin and it makes walking uncomfortable.
I am 61 years old, female and around 9.5 stones, do not smoke, drink very little alcohol and am on no medication at all. I have no other illnesses.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The mild pains that you are having are likely to be related to a vitamin D3 deficiency. A simple blood test will help in the proper diagnosis and further line of management.
