Pain In Throat While Swallowing Saliva, Cough, Diarrhoea. Advise Medication

Hie i have some kind of pain when i swallow saliva it comes and goes but when swallowing food that pain is no longer there its been going on for over a month now....and I've had a cough that i cant seem to get rid off for over 3 weeks now it comes mostly at night or early in the morning during the day m just fine....been having on and off diarrhea for over 4 months now please help.

Thanks for writing to H.C.M. for your query.

I have gone through your query regarding pain in throat while swallowing saliva and you have cough also for last 3 weeks.

Your features suggest that you are suffering from chronic pharyngitis. this may be -

(a) Infective.

(b) Allergic.

(c) L.P.R.

To differentiate these you are advice for Culture and Sensitivity of your throat swab. This test will tell us about-

(1) Infective organism.

(2) If infection is found than which antibiotic will be most effective.

Thus a thorough examination and the co-relation of it with above test give us direction to proceed fot treatment.
