Pain In The Vein On The Hand.Have Bruise With Stinging Sensation. Why?

I am experiencing a sharp pain in the vein in the back if my hand. I just played football and when I kicked the ball a pain shot through my hand ad if pressing down on a bruise with a stinging sensation. I have noticed this going on for a few days now when my hand is in a certain position.

Please can you advise as I fly 10 hours on Saturday and I am concerned. I am male 51 years old. Normally good health

Welcome at HCM.

It looks from your details that you may be suffering from tendinitis.This is inflammation of tendons.You should not bother ,you should consult to a orthopedic doctor for this.You should do following to have relief in this-

-Avoid putting strain over the limb.

-Do warm fomentation with help of pack.

-Take a analgesic like advil or alleve for relief.

Hi Thanks for using HCM.

Pain you are suffering may be due to pressure on your nerve and not vein. Take pain killer like Tab Tramadol to relieve your pain, and can take Tab Multivitamins.Topical diclofenac gel can be applied. Give rest to your hand and dont put pressure on the nerve again for pain. Hope I answered your question. Wish you good health and happy journey. Take care.
