Pain In The Stomach Just Below My Breast With Swelling. Serious Something?
Hello my name is Violet, i have been feeling some pain in the stomach just below my left breast for around 5 years. the different doctors i have seen have prescribed anti-acid. after taking the ant-acid, the problem disappears for a while but then reappears. recently i noticed a some swelling on the same spot just below my left breast on the stomach and the pain has gotten worse. my left shoulder and arm also feels tired, sometimes it feels like i have lifted a very heavy load. please advise.
Hello violet
Thank you for your query.
You most definitely sound like you are having gastritis or acidity, as the pain responds to antacids.
The swelling you are described could be mild fullness or distension after meals.
Also, it could be musculoskeletal pain where you have pulled some muscle, but then it would not last for 5 years.
Also, sometimes, breast lesions can cause such pain.
You need to see your doctor, have a detailed evaluation.
You might require endoscopy to diagnose the cause of the pain.
Do not take it lightly, as you have had it now for 5 years.
take care.
