Pain In The Penis, Reddish Semen. What Is It?

Hello, 33 year old male, married and only one sexual partner. I noticed a few days okay I started feeling a little pain in my penis , Like the bone in there is hurting. I didn t think it was anything, until today I noticed there were some fluid in my underwear. I got home and examined and noticed that there is a reddish semen in on the tip. I cleaned it up and came back and saw a little bit more. What can this be?

Hello dear...
Reddish coloration of semen is known as hematospermia.
It indicates the presence of blood in semen.

Causes include:
1. Irritation/ Inflammation of testicular vessels or the urinary tract
2. Trauma to the testicles
3. Sexually transmitted disease (STD)
4. Inflammations/ Infections of the genital tract (vas deferens, prostate or seminal vesicles)
5. Prostate cancer (rare).

Investigations like cystoscopy and an ultrasound scan of the testicular area will be helpful in clinching the diagnosis.
So...it will be better to consult an Urologist to find out the exact cause.
So that necessary management steps could be taken.

Wishing you a Good Health. Let me know if I need to clarify further.
Thanks & take care.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
From your history it seems that you might be having some infection or some soreness in your penile urethra giving you this trouble.
Go for urine check up and afterwards one antibiotic course will cure your problem.
If there is no improvement then go for urethroscopy or ultrasound of urethra and kidney.
Take plenty of water.
Avoid fried, chillies and junk food.
ok and bye.
