Pain In The Neck, Difficulty In Moving. Pain Radiating To The Rib Cage. Any Thoughts?
Hi, For a couple of days I've had a weird dull pain in the right side of my neck (close to the collar bone), which came on when I got up in the morning but then quickly dissipated as I moved around. About the same time I noticed a yellowish coating on my tongue and a sour taste after meals. Today the area of the neck pain seemed to grow in size and even "travel" around my lower neck, sometimes shooting down into the ribcage (right side) or up and about. I do not see or feel anything unusual where the pain is. I would appreciate your thoughts on a possible cause.
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for calling H.C.M.Forum.
You got dull pain on right side of neck, close to the coller bone, got yellowish coating on the tongue, sour to taste, pain is increasing, some times shooting down into the rib cage on right side.
I suppose it to be cervical spondylosis, on right side, or tetany due to defeciency of calcium, or a muscle sprain.Yellow coating of tongue may not have any relation with it it may be begening of glossitis.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have MRI, besides other routine tests for confirmation.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
Best regards.
