Pain in the clitoris. Reason?

Hi, I know it's probably too much information but I'm really worried. In the left hand side of my clitoris/clitoral hood there was smegma I was going to clean it but it was dry painful so I left it, a few hours later I am now in agony I've had a got bath but it is excruciatingly painful how can I ease the pain? What could be wrong is it torn?

There might be some cut or abrasion after sex,scratching after perspiration.
Don't worry,clean it properly with antiseptic liquid or medicated soap and you can apply local cream with anti fungal,antibacterial and steroid.
Oral nsaid will be helpful to subside pain and inflammation.
Don't wear tight under garment,Keep proper local hygiene.
Consult your doctor for further guidance and medical management.

It seems that due to poor loclal hygiene not cleaning properly due to not approaching deep inside giving rise to some infection.
Consult your doctor and with his advice go for one antibiotic medicine course you will be alright.
Clean local part daily with running water while taking bath.
