Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

After reading your query, I sincerely suggest that the problem could just be a feeling. Continuous dull pain in chest area doesnot happen with heart complaints or lung complaints and moreover that pain don't vanish with deep breaths. Over and above there should additional symptoms.

You get relief with deep breath because you are calming down. Means before breathing you are anxious.

I suggest you to prepart a log of these pains noting the time, frequency, food items had before, stress felt in work or at home and any other relevant information. Then you should be able to see a pattern emerging. I also suggest exercise to make the muscle programmed.

Still, You can consult a general physician and explin the problem. I prescribe painkillers initially after checking the patient pathologically. Then advice psychological intervention.

I hope I am able to answer your query. Feel free to contact me in case you need further assistance.
