Pain In The Armpit Due To Small Cysts. On Antibiotics And Ointment. What Is The Reason?
Doctor, I am 34 years old female. I have pain due to small cysts/gilts under my armpit (3 or 4). They are all very painful and swelling under my armpit. Just before 15 days back, I have similar problem and then I consulted a docor who put me on antibiotics and suggested oinment for external use. After a few days, I was normal. Now again I have smilar problem. Please advise me what to do.

It seems that you are having chronic lymphadenitis in your armpit.
As there is recurrence you should find out the reason.
See that any chronic infection in your hand,arm,nails etc,from there infection can travel in armpit.
Go for your breast examination for any lump,infection,pain.
Any lesion in the breast can cause this problem
So consult your doctor and go for thorough examination.

Yes true..painful cyst/ gilts indicate inflammatory etiology. Do you have any abscess in arm or breast as these areas are drained out by these lymph nodes.
If not, then you should consult with surgeon and go for excision biopsy for confirming exact cause of lymph nodes enlargement.
You should also go for complete blood count, peripheral blood film examination.
